Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current RN license in the state
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Background monitoring or caring for students with seizures is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, school staff, and families
• Reliable, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and on-call scenarios
• Commitment to privacy, safety, and the unique needs of each child

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student, addressing acute needs and supporting ongoing health management
• Administer medications, monitor for seizure activity, and respond to health emergencies as required
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and regularly communicate with school personnel and families
• Support the district as part of a select nurse pool, covering shifts on an as-needed basis for call outs and leaves
• Uphold best practices in infection control and ensure a safe environment for all students
