As an Instructional Aide, youll be placed in classrooms where your support is needed most, working one-on-one or with small groups. These assignments are ideal if you are seeking flexible, as-needed work that allows you to choose shifts around your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer individualized or small-group assistance as guided by the teaching staff
• Help with student routines, transitions between activities, and classroom engagement
• Follow behavior support strategies and implement IEPs when applicable
• Assist with student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Promote an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Clear, current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• All compliance clearances up-to-date or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus but not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative team spirit
