As a Substitute Paraprofessional, you'll play a key part in the educational experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers by implementing planned instructional activities and closely monitoring student engagement during lessons.
• Offer individualized or small-group academic reinforcement to help all learners succeed.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment by supervising students during breaks, transitions, and school activities.
• Aid in the preparation of learning materials and help ensure classrooms are organized and conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education strongly valued.
• Previous experience working with children or in academic settings preferred.
• Flexible, reliable, and comfortable accepting assignments on short notice.
