School-Based Paraprofessional Substitutes Needed Flexible Per Diem Opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster the academic, behavioral, and social development of students in classroom settings
• Deliver individualized or small-group support under the guidance of teachers and school personnel
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and student participation
• Carry out behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as appropriate
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and address personal care needs when required
• Cultivate a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to complete TB testing per school requirements
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist students who may require lifting
• Clearance(s) current or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous but not required
• Commitment to reliability, patience, and working collaboratively

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
