Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, social, and behavioral support to students as directed by teachers and staff
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance in classrooms
• Support students with daily routines, classroom engagement, and transitions
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs as needed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care responsibilities
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB test completion in accordance with district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Qualities and Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health preferred
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices helpful, but not required
• Collaborative, reliable, patient, and adaptable attitude
