Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Anaheim, California

School Paraprofessional Substitutes are needed for flexible, per diem assignments in a rewarding school-based environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students within classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or in small groups as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and encourage participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow student IEPs as necessary
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environment

School Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a recent TB test (per district standards)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with light lifting
• Clearances and background checks must be current or completed prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus (not required)
• Positive, dependable, and collaborative attitude
