• Collaborating closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to foster a welcoming, fully inclusive classroom environment.
• Offering training and resources to students, parents, and school team members on best practices for supporting deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
• Integrating American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities essential for student success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Illinois certification or licensure for teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
