Special Education Teacher in Valley Springs, CA

As the sole educator for this assignment, you'll work closely with a maximum caseload of 28 students, offering both push-in and pull-out instructional support and ensuring adherence to IEPs.

• Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Educational Specialist Credential (REQUIRED)
• Demonstrated experience with push-in and pull-out services in a resource program environment
• Strong knowledge and implementation skills regarding IEP processes and documentation

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to middle school students in both inclusive and separate settings according to IEP goals
• Manage a caseload of up to 28 students, regularly tracking progress and adjusting supports as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure student success across all environments
• Coordinate and participate in IEP meetings, maintaining thorough and compliant documentation
• Create and adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to address individualized learning challenges
