Early Intervention Education Specialist Extensive Support Needs (Preschool/TK)

Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire an Early Intervention Education Specialist Extensive Support Needs for preschool students for next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide early intervention services and specialized instruction for preschool students with extensive developmental and support needs

• Implement play-based, naturalistic, and structured instructional approaches to build foundational communication, motor, and social skills

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with developmentally appropriate goals for children ages 35

• Partner closely with families, early interventionists, and related service providers to ensure coordinated and holistic supports

• Facilitate smooth transitions from early intervention (Part C) to school-age (Part B) services as appropriate

Qualifications:

• California Education Specialist Credential Extensive Support Needs (Early Childhood authorization strongly preferred)

• Experience providing early intervention or preschool special education services

• Strong family-centered practice, developmental knowledge, and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
