Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting early learners in special education for the upcoming school year near South San Francisco, CA. There are three openings available, starting August 13 and continuing through the end of the school year.

What Were Looking For:

  • Active California Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) credentialrequired
  • Experience working with early childhood or elementary special education populations, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to implement them effectively
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching diverse learners
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage and support varying student needs professionally and empathetically

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized instruction for students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with administrators, general education teachers, and related service providers to deliver high-quality support
  • Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and communicate progress to families and IEP teams
  • Attend professional development and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
