Located conveniently near South San Francisco, this full-time contract opportunity runs from August 13th through the end of the 2026-27 school year. As part of a collaborative educational environment, youll work with a manageable caseload of 28 students, focusing on mild to moderate needs and creating lasting change for learners at a crucial stage of development.

What were looking for:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential (required)
• Experience supporting middle school students in a resource specialist program (RSP) setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational strengths to manage caseload documentation and compliance within deadlines
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities, ensuring alignment with IEP goals
• Work closely with students, classroom teachers, and related service providers to promote student success
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records to monitor student progress
• Support families in understanding special education processes and student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices
• Maintain all compliance and documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
