Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) credentials will make a real difference for students and their families. As part of a welcoming, collaborative team, youll develop and implement individualized education plans, collaborate with staff and families, and provide a nurturing foundation for success.
What Youll Contribute:
- Hold an active California ECSE credential (required for all candidates)
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood/ECSE special education caseloads
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills for working with families, multidisciplinary teams, and administrators
- Adaptability and a positive, student-centered outlook
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for early childhood students with a variety of needs
- Design and modify lesson plans and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Assess and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and aides
