Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe) required
• Experience teaching in Special Education, preferably with elementary (K-2) and ESN (Extensive Support Needs) populations
• Strong classroom management and planning abilities
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Clear communication skills and collaborative attitude
• Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to K-2 students with moderate to severe needs
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans in accordance with IEPs and state standards
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain records and fulfill all documentation requirements
