Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe) required
- Experience teaching in Special Education, preferably with elementary (K-2) and ESN (Extensive Support Needs) populations
- Strong classroom management and planning abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Clear communication skills and collaborative attitude
- Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and individualized instruction to K-2 students with moderate to severe needs
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans in accordance with IEPs and state standards
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
- Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain records and fulfill all documentation requirements
- Support classroom setupone position available in a new classroom, and one in an established setting
