Special Ed Teacher - San Jose, California

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active California credential in Moderate/Severe Special Education is required
• Prior experience with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to promoting positive behavior and learning outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with a range of needs and abilities
• Develop, implement, and track IEPs in partnership with families and school teams
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance requirements
