Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid CTC Mild/Moderate credential (required)
• Previous experience working in special education, particularly with elementary students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Passion for fostering student growth in academic, social, and emotional domains

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to elementary students with mild/moderate disabilities
• Create and adapt lesson plans based on IEP goals and individual abilities
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support each students progress
• Conduct assessments and document student performance and behaviors
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Foster a safe, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and growth
