Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid and active California Moderate/Severe Education Specialist credential (mod/severe).
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in moderate/severe settings, is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to extensive support needs.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, administration, and related service providers.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction to elementary students with extensive support needs in an in-person classroom setting.
- Develop, monitor, and adapt IEPs according to each students unique learning profile and goals.
- Coordinate closely with parents, general educators, and allied professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Implement evidence-based practices and strategies to promote student growth and independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
