As a critical contributor to a compassionate, student-centered team, youll collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and families. The classrooms serve no more than ten young learners each, allowing you to provide individualized attention and implement creative, tailored learning strategies.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential (active and required)
• Experience working in elementary special education, especially with moderate/severe populations
• Demonstrated success with individualized instruction, IEP development, and classroom management
• Adaptability, communication, and a deep commitment to inclusive education practices
• Able to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction for a classroom of K-2 students with moderate/severe needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages each students growth and independence
• Collaborate with classroom support staff, therapists, and families
• Track progress and maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
