Education Specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Support, Mild/Moderate (K8)

Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire an special education teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) support with an Early Childhood Special Education credential for students in grades TK3rd for next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction using evidence-based ASD strategies including structured teaching, social skills instruction, and sensory regulation supports

• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to build inclusive, supportive learning environments

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with goals targeting communication, social-emotional learning, and academic access

• Implement and monitor behavior support plans in coordination with the school's BCBA or behavior support team

• Track student progress using data-driven methods and adjust programming to maximize growth

Qualifications:

• California Education Specialist Credential Early Childhood Special Education

• Experience supporting students with ASD using evidence-based practices (TEACCH, social skills curricula, sensory integration) preferred

• Strong collaboration, behavior support knowledge, and family communication skills
