Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active California Special Education Teaching Credential is required
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, preferably within a structured environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of kindergarten students in a structured autism classroom
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), document progress, and develop lesson plans in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Work in partnership with paraeducators, specialists, and families to create a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Monitor and adapt teaching strategies to ensure student development in both academic and social/emotional areas
• Maintain organized records and reports, and participate in meetings as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
