Special Education Teacher - Riverside, CA

Located near Riverside, CA, this elementary school-based opportunity focuses on a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) caseload and covers a maternity leave from August through October 30th, 2026. Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Special Education teaching credential required
• Previous experience teaching or supporting elementary-age students in special education settings is preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes, instructional accommodations, and inclusive classroom strategies
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and maintain compliance

Primary Duties:

• Serve as RSP teacher for a manageable caseload of 25 elementary students
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs personalized to each students needs
• Deliver specialized instruction both within and outside the general education setting according to IEP mandates
• Work closely with staff, administration, and families to support student growth and success
• Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress reporting
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of required paperwork
