Special Education Teacher - Pioneer, CA

Youll take on a pivotal role guiding students with mild to moderate needs, working collaboratively with the educational team to ensure the highest quality instruction through both push-in and pull-out models.

What were seeking:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education credential (required)
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 28 high school students
• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
• Passion for fostering student growth and success

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing specialized academic instruction and support as outlined in students IEPs
• Collaborating with general education staff to adapt curriculum and instructional methods
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in IEP meetings and effectively communicating with families and team members
• Creating an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment
