Job Description
Deliver meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher serving elementary students for a first semester contract in the South San Francisco area. This full-time assignment is focused on Resource Specialist Program (RSP) support, with the opportunity to make a difference in an inclusive setting. Requirements:
- Current, active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (MUST HAVE)
- Demonstrated background in Special Education teaching, especially at the elementary level
- Experience supporting students with mild/moderate needs in a resource (RSP) setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt lessons and provide differentiated support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and resource support to elementary students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and track student IEP goals and progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to foster student inclusion and success
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and ongoing professional development
