Special Education Teacher Job Description:

SDC Moderate to Severe

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support each student's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Deliver specialized instruction in a structured, supportive classroom environment designed to promote student growth and independence.
Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
Utilize evidence-based instructional practices, accommodations, and behavior support strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Monitor student progress, maintain compliance documentation, and contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment.

Requirements:

Active California Education Specialist Extensive Needs Support Credential
Candidates with a pending California Extensive Needs Support Credential are encouraged to apply

Pay & Benefits:

Highly competitive compensation to commensurate with experience (up to $55 an hour)
