Special Ed Teacher - Lodi, California

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Special Education Teaching credentials required
• Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adaptable, patient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, structured setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and support to a kindergarten caseload of students with autism
• Assess student needs and create engaging lesson plans that foster academic and social growth
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and strategies for success
• Maintain ongoing compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
• Document progress toward IEP goals and participate in meetings as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
