  • Valid and active California Special Education teaching credentials (required)

  • Strong collaborative skills for working closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to providing differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices
  • Solid communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students across a range of disabilities in a resource classroom
  • Design, implement, and monitor effective IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Use data-driven strategies to inform instruction and track student growth
  • Advocate for students, ensuring appropriate accommodations and modifications within general education settings
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student progress and well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation required for compliance and reporting
