Special Education Teacher in Jackson, CA

This full-time opportunity is designed for a dedicated educator passionate about supporting students through both push-in and pull-out services as an RSP teacher. You'll collaborate with a skilled educational team, focusing on a manageable caseload of up to 28 students and leveraging your expertise with IEPs to help learners achieve their potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
• Direct classroom experience in high school or secondary settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency in IEP development and implementation
• Experience delivering resource support services in both push-in and pull-out formats
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Understanding of the unique needs of high school students receiving special education services

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized academic instruction and support to students with IEPs
• Maintain a caseload of up to 28 high school students
• Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Deliver tailored interventions to help students meet educational goals
