Special Education Teacher - Ione, California

Bring your expertise as an RSP teacher to a high school setting, managing a caseload of up to 28 students. This role focuses on both push-in and pull-out instructional models and requires hands-on experience developing and implementing IEPs. If you hold an active California mild/moderate credential, your skills will be highly valued and essential for student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active CA mild/moderate teaching credential (required)
• Experience with high school student populations in special education settings
• Strong background in IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Knowledge of push-in/pull-out instructional models
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in both inclusive and resource settings
• Develop, review, and manage IEPs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support personnel, and parents
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Advocate for student needs and foster an inclusive, supportive environment
