Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Current and active California teaching credentials in Special Education (REQUIRED)
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly those in a resource or inclusion environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and related service providers
• Commitment to developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward daily challenges and successes

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction in both individual and small group settings to students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student inclusion
• Utilize data-driven practices to assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation for all assigned students
