Qualifications:

• Active California Special Education Teaching Credential (required)
• Experience with elementary-age special needs students, preferably ESN and non-verbal populations
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive communication strategies
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to meet each students unique learning needs
• Create safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environments
• Adapt curriculum using best practices for non-verbal students, including assistive technology as needed
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress; participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate regularly with parents, colleagues, and specialized service providers
