This full-time, contract position begins with the 26/27 school years first semester, with potential extension to the end of the academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Current, active California mild/moderate Education Specialist credential (required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students as a Resource Specialist (RSP)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and academic growth in a diverse student population
• Ability to adapt lessons and manage student IEPs in accordance with state guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized academic instruction and support to students requiring mild/moderate intervention
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
• Track, document, and report student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and educational plans
• Contribute positively to school culture and participate in relevant staff meetings and training
