Step into a rewarding contract role supporting exceptional students as a Special Education Teacher focused on early intervention. Serving a TK/K caseload within an ESN (mod/severe) program, youll bring guidance and encouragement to children with diverse learning needs. Based near San Leandro, CA, this full-time opportunity runs from now through June 4, 2026.

Qualifications:

• Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching credential (mod/severe licensure required)
• Experience, passion, or training supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities, ideally in early childhood or kindergarten settings
• Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and paraprofessionals
• Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Compassionate, creative, and proactive mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct special education instruction and support for a TK/K Exceptional Student Needs classroom
• Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning

Pay ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, reflecting your experience and expertise.
