Key Qualifications:
- Valid CTC Certification required (Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or other California equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 settings strongly preferred
- Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs in partnership with students and support teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different grade levels and settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction that meets the unique learning needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, families, and specialists to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Implement and track individualized education plans (IEPs), making data-driven adjustments as needed
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving initiatives
