Qualifications and Experience:

• Credentialed Special Education Teacher, or eligibility to obtain credentials
• Experience or strong interest in working with students who have mild to moderate disabilities
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and tracking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
• Adaptable and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Prior school-based experience is valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with students IEP goals
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and regularly communicate outcomes to families and team members
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and specialists to deliver inclusive instruction
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective, student-centered learning strategies
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques tailored to diverse learning needs
• Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence

This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, during the traditional school year. Compensation ranges from $45-55 or more per hour, depending on experience.
