Special Ed Teacher - Fremont, California

Qualifications and Experience

• Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education Teaching credential required
• Previous experience working with students with moderate/severe disabilities is highly preferred
• Ability to develop differentiated instructional materials tailored for individual education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with general education staff, parents, and support services
• Organizational excellence for timely documentation and progress tracking

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction and interventions based on individual student IEPs
• Foster an inclusive, safe classroom environment that encourages participation and addresses unique learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize growth
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrative staff
• Facilitate IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and collaborative goal-setting
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
