Special Ed Teacher - Five Points, California

Available caseloads include:

• SDC Classroom (Mild/Moderate), grades 4-5
• ESN (Extensive Support Needs), grades 9-12

Key qualifications:

• Possession of a valid California CTC credential in both Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Special Education (mandatory)
• Experience creating inclusive, adaptive classroom environments for students with varying support needs
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student growth and independence

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify instructional plans based on individual student needs
• Deliver engaging lessons that accommodate a range of learning styles and abilities
• Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain timely communication with families and colleagues
• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive classroom climate
• Work collaboratively with related services, classroom staff, and administrators to ensure comprehensive support for each student
