Special Education Teacher in Emeryville, CA

In this role, youll provide instruction and support to a mild/moderate caseload, working 20 hours per week. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive, engaging classroom experience for students with varying learning needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active and valid California Special Education Teaching credential (required)
• Experience working with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and classroom support tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance
• Foster a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment

This contract offers a pay range between $40 and $50 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
