Special Education Teacher Job Description:

Structured Autism Kindergarten

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support each student's unique academic, behavioral, communication, and developmental needs.
Deliver specialized instruction in a structured classroom environment designed to foster independence, engagement, and growth.
Utilize evidence-based instructional practices, visual supports, behavior strategies, and individualized accommodations to support student success.
Collaborate closely with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
Monitor student progress, maintain special education documentation, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

Active California Education Specialist Credential (Extensive Support Needs/ Moderate to Severe)
Candidates with Moderate/Severe backgrounds ONLY
Experience supporting students with autism and diverse learning needs preferred
