Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and active California Special Education Teaching Credential (M/M or ESN required)
  • Proven dedication to meeting the needs of students with various disabilities
  • Ability to work closely with staff, families, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in school-based roles preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver individualized instruction for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff in a team-oriented setting
  • Assess student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and federal requirements
  • Facilitate IEP meetings in partnership with parents and school professionals
  • Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques for diverse learners
