Per Diem School Registered Nurse | West Chester, Pennsylvania

In this per diem role, youll play a vital part in students educational journeys while enjoying maximum flexibility and the opportunity to work as needed, based on school coverage needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support to students, ensuring their medical, behavioral, and social needs are met in the classroom
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide assistance as directed
• Aid students with medical requirements, help with daily routines and classroom transitions, and promote their active participation
• Assist with mobility, offer supervision, and handle personal care needs when necessary
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Essential Requirements:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Recent TB test, as required by the district
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, and safely assist with lifting tasks
• All required clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school nursing, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR certification, as well as G-Tube or Trach experience, is advantageous but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and dedicated to teamwork
