Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia RN license
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Compliance with required TB testing per district regulations
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Possession of current background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in school nursing, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT certification a plus
• Professionalism, patience, reliability, and a collaborative spirit

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group support focused on academics, behavior, and social skills under teacher leadership
• Assist students with daily care routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Aid with supervision, mobility, and personal care, adapting to individual student needs
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all
