Per Diem Registered Nurse School Setting in Sonora, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one care to students, assisting with daily medical needs in classroom settings
• Support students in their routines, including transitions, participation, and personal care
• Collaborate closely with educators and staff to ensure each childs well-being and engagement
• Monitor mobility and provide physical support as needed
• Help foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Completion of TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Able to secure and maintain necessary background clearances

Preferred Experience:

• Background working with children or students, especially in special education or behavioral health
• Experience with children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach to care

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.77 to $48.77. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
