Per Diem School Registered Nurse | Santa Ana, California

School-based Registered Nurses are sought to provide 1:1 care for students, helping them thrive academically and socially. This flexible, per diem opportunity allows you to pick up shifts based on your availability, giving you total control over your work schedule.

What Youll Do:

• Deliver individualized medical, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work closely with teachers and staff to provide 1:1 assistance as needed
• Support students during daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as necessary
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting
• Up-to-date school clearances, or willingness to complete prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care experiencehelpful but not mandatory
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.77 to $48.77. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
