Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Minnesota
• Prior nursing experience in a school, pediatrics, or community health preferred
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions and handle emergencies calmly
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (current)
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with school staff
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed, including short-notice PRN assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid, medication, and health screenings during the school day
• Manage chronic conditions, create and update care plans, and respond swiftly to urgent medical situations
• Maintain accurate health records in accordance with regulatory and privacy guidelines
• Provide health education to students and staff as appropriate
• Liaise with families, educators, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care
• Support the development of a healthy, safe, and inclusive school environment
