Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license required
• Prior experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or similar settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of standard school health policies, protocols, and emergency procedures
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
• CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities:

• Act as a health resource for students and staff, providing day-to-day care, first aid, and medication administration as needed
• Manage and maintain student health records, immunizations, and medication authorizations in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Respond to health emergencies and develop individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions or special medical needs
• Educate students and staff regarding hygiene, health practices, and disease prevention
• Collaborate with school administration, counselors, and families to support the overall well-being of the school community
• Maintain confidentiality while adhering to state and federal health regulations
