Per Diem School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Rochester, Michigan

School Registered Nurses are needed to provide essential 1:1 support to students in a vibrant school-based environment near Rochester, MI. In this per diem role, youll utilize your nursing skills to foster a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere, helping students succeed both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct medical, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings.
• Offer individualized assistance as requested by teachers and school staff.
• Aid students with medical needs, personal care, routines, transitions, and classroom participation.
• Monitor and support mobility, supervision, and personal safety.
• Create a respectful, encouraging environment that supports learning and well-being.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license.
• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• TB test as required by the district.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting.
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience (preferred, not required).
• Reliable, patient, team player.
