Per Diem School Registered Nurse | Rochester, Michigan

Spindle is seeking dedicated Instructional Aide substitutes interested in making a difference in students lives in a school-based, per diem capacity. Shifts are available based on daily school coverage needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups under the direction of teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Support student mobility, offer supervision, and assist with personal care as necessary
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when needed
• All clearances current or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
