Per Diem School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Pontiac, Michigan

School Registered Nurses are needed to provide dedicated 1:1 support for students in structured school settings near Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 medical, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom environments
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Support mobility, personal care, and supervision as directed by school staff and teaching teams
• Help promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all students
• Communicate with teachers and staff to coordinate care, ensuring student needs are met

Requirements to Work in Schools:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Completion of TB testing per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• All required clearances must be current or obtained before starting

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
