Per Diem School Registered Nurse | New Haven, Connecticut

Make a significant impact as a per diem School-Based Registered Nurse (RN), supporting students within a vibrant school community near New Haven, CT. This unique role provides the flexibility of per diem assignments and the opportunity to deliver one-on-one or small group care, guiding students academically, behaviorally, and socially under the direction of teaching staff.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver individualized nursing support for students in educational settings
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Help implement behavior plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students mobility, supervise their activities, and provide personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for learning and growth

What Youll Bring:

• Active RN license (required)
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Compliance with TB testing per district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Completion of current clearances or willingness to obtain before starting
• Preferred: Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Skills supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges a plus
• Certification or experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT preferred
• Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative mindset
