Per Diem Registered Nurse School Setting - Millbrook, AL

In this role, you'll:

• Provide individualized or small group support to students, guided by teachers
• Assist with daily routines, transitions between activities, and full participation in classroom life
• Implement behavior support plans and follow the guidelines of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer hands-on support with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students

What youll need to succeed:

• Hold an active RN license in Alabama
• Be at least 18 years old
• Meet TB testing requirements as outlined by the district
• Physically able to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Provide current background clearances or be willing to obtain them before starting

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience in nonviolent crisis intervention (CPI, PMT, or RBT)
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative work style
