Per Diem School RN in Millbrook, AL

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group support focused on academic, behavioral, and social growth, guided by school staff.
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions throughout the day.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with fidelity.
• Provide assistance with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required.
• Help foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Alabama RN License.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Compliance with current TB testing requirements per district policies.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed.
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to secure them prior to beginning your assignment.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings.
• Familiarity with supporting students who have special needs, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral challenges.
• Additional certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus.
• Strong reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit.
