Per Diem School Registered Nurse | Liberty, Missouri

School Registered Nurses are needed to provide vital support to students in a flexible, school-based environment near Liberty, MO. These per diem opportunities are ideal for compassionate RNs eager to make a meaningful daily impact while enjoying the variety and structure of classroom settings. Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 medical and behavioral support to students within classroom environments
• Assist with student medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Support mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure students well-being
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED (minimum)
• At least 18 years old
• TB test per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Willingness to secure or update all required clearances before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
